The Somos Hermanos Student Immersion Program has two sessions each year: January - June and July - December.  The application deadline for the Fall session is in February and the application deadline for the Spring session is in March. 

A complete application consists of the online application form (below), 2 character references, and 1 language reference (see online application form for reference form information).  Please note that it is not possible to save data entered in the online form and come back to it later; therefore, we recommend that students type their applications in a separate document (e.g. MS Word), and then copy and paste their responses into the fields on the form.

Medical School Interviews

We understand that many of our participants are in the process of applying to medical school and that interviews are an important part of this process. Briefly returning to the U.S. once or twice during the program for interviews is allowed and will not affect your experience with the Somos Hermanos Student Immersion Program. Most students elect to schedule their interviews during their free week mid-way through the program or during Phase 3 of the program so as not to miss any language instruction.
